Hi, there! I'm Lucía Lares – Lu.
I’m an illustrator and ceramist with a deep love for adventure and knowledge. My passion has always been drawing and painting, especially with traditional techniques. I work from home, in my little world that is my studio.
Currently I dedicate my time to painting watercolors, crafting lovely pieces with ceramics, making delicious foods, walking through museums, taking film photographs and drinking coffee.
Inspired by nature and life itself, I try to create pieces that show tenderness and transmit calmness. I specialize in warm, adorable and whimsical illustrations using watercolor, colored pencils, and more mixed media.
My areas of interest and work include: Book and cover illustration, Editorial illustration, Surface and pattern design, Art licensing.

Soy ilustradora y ceramista, y me encanta la aventura y el conocimiento. Mi pasión siempre ha sido dibujar y pintar, especialmente con técnicas tradicionales. Trabajo desde casa, en mi pequeño mundo que es mi estudio.
Actualmente dedico mi tiempo a pintar acuarelas, crear piezas de cerámica, preparar deliciosas comidas, pasear por museos, hacer fotografías analógicas y tomar café.
Inspirada por la naturaleza y la vida misma, trato de crear piezas que muestren ternura y transmitan tranquilidad. Me especializo en ilustraciones cálidas y adorables utilizando acuarelas, lápices de colores y otras técnicas mixtas.
Mis áreas de interés y trabajo incluyen: ilustración de libros y portadas, ilustración editorial, diseño de superficies y patrones, y licencias artísticas.
